It's chocolatey, it's cake, it's fudgey and it's delicious!
You will need a 1lb loaf tin.
Pre-heat your oven to 150ºC. Fan.
Ingredients:
2 Ripe Bananas (c.250g with skins on)
60ml Vegetable Oil
50g Tahini
1 Large Egg
50g Caster Sugar
35g Soft Dark Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
60g Plain or Rice Flour
25g Cocoa Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
100g Dark Chocolate Chips
Handful of Sesame Seeds
How I make my Chocolate Banana Tahini Cake:
Pre-heat your oven to 150ºC Fan and line your loaf tin.
Peel the bananas, mash and beat together with the tahini, then the oil, egg, then the sugars and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
Slowly add flour mixture to the batter.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into your prepared tin and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 45-50 minutes
Goes really well with a cup of tea.
